Former Miss Austria, Ena Kadic died on Tuesday from injuries sustained during a mountain fall while jogging in her home state in a routine exercise.

26-year-old Bosnian-Austrian model and beauty pageant titleholder who was the winner of the Miss Austria 2013, Ena Kadić, has died on Tuesday after falling to her death from a mountain while jogging in her home state of Tyrol.

According to the Police, the former beauty queen was found by two students near Drachenfelsen (Dragon rock) before rescue helicopter took her to the hospital where she later died from injuries sustained during the fall. She reportedly plunged off the side of the Bergisel mountain near the city of Innsbruck.

When she was crowned in 2013

Police said after she fell from the mountain, She was still conscious and managed to call her brother to report the accident before she fell unconscious.

Police are still trying to establish the circumstances surrounding her fall. The former beauty queen was known to be an avid runner who knew the terrain very well. According to statistics, just between May and September, about 115 people have died and 2,385 injured in the Austrian alps
