After apologizing to the Senate President over an erroneous post he made about the lawmaker, Charly Boy, has thrown another jab, calling for the scrapping of the National Assembly.

Veteran singer, TV host and one of Nigeria's most controversial entertainers, Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has called for the scrapping of the National Assembly.
The convener of "Our Mumu Don Do" movement, Charly Boy took to his Instagram post on Wednesday, March 14, and said that there are too many fraudsters popularly known as 419ers and riffraffs in the National Assembly.
While describing the Nigerian lawmakers as scum bags and criminals, the ace musician said there is so much poverty in Nigeria while the senators and members of the House of Representatives are highly paid.
Charly Boy said: “Yes, I apologized. However, I believe that we should scrap the National Assembly. Too many 419ers, riffraffs, scum bags and criminals. Honourable’s who are dishonourable. Distinguished who are riffraffs," Charly Boy wrote.
"Criminals in suit’s and Agbada. With dis kin poverty and hunger in the land, why are our senators the most paid in the world. Let’s do away with this yeye Senate, save money, so that the common man can have a life."
"Very soon we will occupy to protest against the huge waste of our resources. God punish evil people. #ourmumudondo. This change has changed many people to kidnappers, armed robbers, and paupers. Whoever shuts his ears at the cry of the poor, they also shall cry themselves, but not be heard," he added.
