Drug Abuse Allegations: Rapper, Olamide Clears Air On Controversial Hit Single, 'Science Student'

YBNL multi-award winning rapper, Olamide Baddo has taken to his Instagram page to clear the air on his latest single 'Science Student' which has been trailed with criticisms.

As Nigerians continue to trail popular rapper, Olamide Adedeji popularly known as Baddo over his latest single 'Science Student' where he was accussed of promoting drug abuse, has taken to his Instagram page to clear the air.
 
Olamide's latest single, "Science Students" was released few weeks ago and has generated positive and negative reactions from Nigerians as a whole, as many think he is in a way encouraging youth to embrace drugs.
 
The rapper has now taken to his Instagram page to react to the controversies saying that the music was released to encourage Nigerian to stay away from drugs and its abuse.
 
Here is what he wrote;
 
"Since the release of #ScienceStudent, the support has been massive. As you are all sharing, dancing, singing along to this relatable music of mine, I want you all to take some time to reflect on the subject, say no to drug abuse. Don’t abuse alcohol. stop mixing what you don’t know about. Live responsibly and drink responsibly.
 
"Don’t aspire the ‘highness state’ but a state of purpose fulfillment and passion discovery. Together let’s put an end to drug abuse and save as many lives as possible. The video will be out soon and I can’t wait for you all to see it. #SayNoToDrugAbuse #DrinkResponsibly #ScienceStudent."
