Violent Protests Erupt at Popular Wuse Market in Abuja

There is an ongoing violent protest which erupted on Wednesday morning at Wuse market, the largest market in the Nigerian capital, Abuja.

According to a report by Premium Times, a violent protest is currently ongoing at the popular Wuse Market in the federal capital, Abuja.
 
It was gathered that the protesters are blocking vehicles and harassing visitors to the market which is the largest in the Nigerian capital.
 
As at the time of filing this report, the reason for the protest is yet to be ascertained, but protesters said a taxi driver was killed by a task force in the market on Wednesday morning.
 
While the market remains closed, the protesters have blocked movement of vehicles around the area leaving hundreds of passengers stranded.
