The Peoples Democratic Party in Ekiti would adopt a consensus governorship candidate today for the 2018 governorship election,
Punch newspaper reports.
It was learnt that party bigwigs are already in Ado Ekiti for an intervention meeting where some issues including that of the governorship candidate would be discussed.
Among the frontline politicians for the PDP ticket are the deputy to Governor Ayodele Fayose, Prof. Olusola Kolapo, a former Commissioner for Works, Kayode Oso; a former Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Owoseni Ajayi; a former Deputy Governor, Chief Bisi Omoyeni and the Publicity Secretary of the PDP National Caretaker Committee, Prince Dayo Adeyeye.
