The controversy surrounding the arrest of Omoleye Sowore is getting more intense as it has been hinted that he might end up in prison soon.

Omoyele Sowore has revealed that the police are working with one Lekan Fatodu to arraign and detain him in prison on phony charges.

He raised the alarm of social media by writing: "Folks, It has come to my notice that the Lagos Commissioner Of Police is preparing phony charges against me. They plan to arraign in court and get me detained in prison.

"Again, as I mentioned in my last post, this attack on me was well planned by the police, Lekan Fatodu was just used as a smokescreen."

He had earlier said that his arrest was planned by Fatodu alongside the police in Lagos state to harass and intimidate him over a news report published on his site about how Fatodu was used by former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode to launder money abroad.

"Due respect to those urging me to be careful, those who encourage me to disappear, well, I am sorry that I won’t be taking your advice and I am rejecting this on behalf of millions that have nowhere to run to and to whom being careful meant no succor. I will be at SCID Panti tomorrow, stop by if you have time and some courage,” Sowore wrote on his Facebook wall.

He was arrested and released yesterday without writing a statement by the police in Lagos state.
