Nigerian Senate to Remove Kemi Adeosun as Minister? Lawmakers Tackle Economy as They Resume Plenary

As Nigerian lawmakers continue to deliberate on the floor of the Senate over the state of the economy and how it can be resolved, the issue of removing the Minister of Finance from office, were also discussed.

As Nigerian lawmakers resume their plenary session after a long break, the upper chamber of the National Assembly, Abuja, has moved into a swift action to tackle the economic recession that has brought untold harship to many Nigerians as they deliberate and try to proffer solutions to the presidency on immediate eradication of the factors which led to the dwindling economy.
 
As many senators are airing their views on the state of the economy and the way forward over the matter, Senator Shehu Sani, disclosed that removing the Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, from office will not resolve the current economic recession.
 
In his own submission, Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, charged President Buhari to look into his cabinet and make adequate adjustments.
