According to strong media reports, the oldest woman in Markudi, Benue State has passed away amidst mixed feelings by her family members.

The death has been announced of Mama Oyine Ichapi, who is believed to be the oldest woman in Benue State.
According to record made available to an indigenous news platform, Idoma Voice, Mama Ichapi was born in 1896 which makes her 120 years old.
The remains of the centenarian, who is said to be very generous and caring will be committed to mother earth today in Opa-Adoka, Otukpo, Benue State.
