The most influential Niger Delta militant group known as the Niger Delta Avengers have suffered a major setback in the area of media and publicity as it loses it social media account.
The twitter handle of the Niger Delta Avengers has been suspended over suspected breach of the rules and guidelines surrounding usage.
Some Nigerians have in the past reported the handle to Twitter authorities for spreading violence and terrorism and it seems the world wide micro-blogging site finally succumbed to the demands of the people.
This will come as a huge blow to the NDA which uses the platform in disseminating information and details of its economic sabotage to the general public. The Twitter page which was shortly opened has over 30,000 followers retweeting their messages.
