A team of fraudsters led by a 19-year-old student were arrested at a Lagos Hotel where they had gone to collect the sum of $25,000 from some Australians trying to book Wizkid for a show.

The NETNG has exclusively obtained photos of the 3 alleged fraudsters impersonating Nigerian pop star, Wizkid.
The trio led by 19-year-old Ifeoma Nelly, a 200-level Industrial Chemistry student of Delta state university (DELSU) were arrested at a Lagos Hotel and have been remanded at the Lagos State Police Command Headquarters Ikeja, GRA.
The gang members
Reports have it that they've been doing this for over three years. They not only allegedly used Wizkid’s name to open Facebook accounts, but also reportedly used his name to register the phone they use, so whenever someone calls her or she calls someone, Truecaller ID shows Wizkid's name.
