The special assistant to the president on youth and students affairs, has disclosed that the next three years of the Buhari's administration will be more eventful for the Nigerian youth.

In a message of felicitation to Nigerians on the occasion of the first anniversary of the President Muhammadu administration, Nasir Adhama, special assistant to the president on youth and students affairs, says 'the next three years of the President Muhammadu Buhari administration will be more eventful for the Nigerian youth' with upcoming innovative programs and activities.
Signed by his media aide, Gidado Shuaib, the presidential aide, explained that various programmes and platforms had been outlined to empower the Nigerian youth and students by creating opportunities for them to develop their potential to the fullest and live more productive lives.
According to Adhama, 'the 'Social Protection Programme' launched by President Muhammadu Buhari recently would lift millions of Nigerians out of poverty through provision of employment opportunities, including more than 500,000 teachers and 100,000 artisans.'
He outlined that the programs were aimed to empower Nigerian youths and students by creating opportunities for them to develop their fullest potential and live more productively.
"I am glad to have witnessed this day [one year since President Buhari’s inauguration] and to be part of the present administration. I am quite aware of your high expectations from this administration and I want to assure you that President Buhari places high premium on the youth as vanguards of change and he is committed to our welfare, interest and future.
"I want to express gratitude to the Nigerian youth for their patience in the last one year. It would be recalled the President introduced the 'one-meal-per-day programme' and when it commences would aim at combating malnutrition among children and improving learning outcomes as well as enrolment as over 5.5 million children would benefit from the programme," the statement read.
He added that the government’s cash transfer scheme and enterprise program targeting market women, artisans and agricultural workers would not only alleviate poverty but empower women towards contributing to national development.
