In the post, Stefflon Don shared a photo of Burkina Faso’s interim president, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, and captioned it: “The real Giant of Africa.”

The caption raised eyebrows, as Burna Boy is famously known by the self-proclaimed title “African Giant.”

The post has been widely interpreted as a snide remark aimed at Burna Boy, given the couple’s highly publicized and messy breakup.

Since their split in 2021, both artists have occasionally taken indirect shots at each other—most notably Burna Boy, whose hit track “Last Last” is believed to touch on the emotional aftermath of their relationship.
