Mayorkun disclosed that although he is off the DMW record label, he is still close to Davido and sees him as family.

Nigerian singer, Emmanuel Adewale, popularly known as Mayorkun, has spoken about his relationship with former record label boss, Davido.
While speaking on Arise News about his contract with DMW Records, Maryorkun disclosed that his contract with the music record label has been over for almost 4 years.
Mayorkun disclosed that although he is off the DMW record label, he is still close to Davido and sees him as family.
“My contract with DMW has been done for about 3 to 4 years, but I’m still with them. After this interview, the next person I will be seeing is Davido,” he said.
According to Mayorkun, his new project he is about to relase is not under the DMW record label but under song music. He also mentioned that he has been with Sony record label for 3 years after he left DMW.
