A Ghanaian man on the social media platform, X user, has said he is the brother of a student who committed su!cide over his girlfriend.
The man also used X to mourn his deceased brother.

He reportedly committed suicide on Wednesday, April 16, 2025.
“My brother just hanged himself because of a woman at UEW. I just held his cold body and I can't even cry. I'm so sad man,” he wrote on April 16, after the incident.
“Why will you k!ll yourself because of a woman. WHY WHY WHY WHY Kumi WHY.”
“Thanks to everyone for their words of encouragement through this hard times. Losing a loved one through such a tragic event is not easy for us. I really appreciate.”
