A young boy simply identified as Yunusa has been reported dead after falling from a mango tree in Takowangwa community in Mokwa town, Niger State.
A journalist, MA Mokwa, who disclosed this in a Facebook post on Sunday, April 13, 2025 said the deceased had climbed the tree to pluck mangoes when he fell and sustained internal injuries.
After undergoing surgery, the young boy sadly passed away.
“Yunusa reportedly fell from a Mango tree during the just concluded fasting period. While returning from a farm with colleagues, Yunusa attempted to pluck a Mango fruit and unfortunately fell, sustaining internal injuries. After undergoing surgery last week, Yunusa sadly passed away. I pray that Almighty Allah forgives him and grants him paradise,” he wrote.
