Lagos Seals Westbrook Mall, Arrests 24 For Violating State Order

The state Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, disclosed this on his X handle today April 3.

The government of Lagos State has sealed Westbrook Mall in the Lekki area of the state.

24 individuals were also arrested for violating a government order.

The state Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, disclosed this on his X handle today April 3.

The commissioner wrote;

“Sequel to the contravention by the Management of Westbrook Mall, and having broken the State government Seal order on two separate occasions, a joint LSWMO and KAI Enforcement exercise was carried out on the facility this morning, Thursday 3rd April, 2025.

Actions Taken

- 24 people were arrested and to be prosecuted

- The property was resealed

The property will also be mandated to pay all necessary Fines in line with the State laws.''
