Nigerian skitmaker and activist, Debo Adedayo aka Mr Macaroni, has reacted after the Delta State School of Nursing issued a query to a student nurse, Osato Edobor, for sharing a video of her colleagues singing a controversial welcome song for the first lady, Sen Remi Tinubu.

While preparing the students to welcome the First Lady who was in the state on Wednesday, March 26, the MC of the occasion, began singing a song with the lyrics;

‘’Na our mama be this, we nor get another,'' referring to Mrs Tinubu as their mum

However, the students responded saying ‘’Na your mama be this''.

While some Nigerians have applauded the students, others have condemned them and described their actions as disrespectful.

This morning, Nigerians woke up to the news that the student who shared the controversial video was being queried by the management of the school.

Reacting to this new development, Mr Macaroni queried why the student was threatened with disciplinary action over a song.

He wrote;

‘’Delta State College of Nursing Sciences is threatening a student with disciplinary action because of song???

The students say dem sabi their mama!!

Students wey their mama dey work hard to give them better life.. una wan come expel them because them refuse to deny their mama? Na by force???''
