A Nigerian man who is a serving US soldier has shared his encounter with Nigeria Customs and NDLEA officers at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos.
olatheyle took to Tiktok to share a video of his encounter.
At first, they were not aware of his military status, but when they realized, they were in awe.
After arriving at the airport, he was searched by customs officers who asked to inspect his bags.
However, he was shocked to find out that just some steps away from the customs officers, another team of NDLEA officers were waiting to also search his passport.
He expressed shock and wondered why NDLEA officials now check passports which is not their statutorily role.
