Be Observant And Vigilant - Man Warns Travellers As He Shares How Hotel Allegedly Refused To Lodge Him After He Called Family to Let Them Know His Location

A Nigerian man, Ada Olaiya, has issued a warning to people to be vigilant and look out for warning signs when lodging in hotels.

The Facebook user explained that he tried to lodge in a hotel in Ilorin when he made a call to his family while at the reception desk, letting them know the hotel where he was going to pass the night.

After the call, he claimed tried to book a room, but two men allegedly told the receptionist not to give the hotel account to any customer to make payment and that he is also not allowed to make payment with his ATM card.

He said he left the place in shock.

He urged travellers to always make calls at reception desks, loudly telling their loved ones where they are, because this could save them. He also warned them against paying for a hotel room via any means that cannot be traced to the hotel.
