President Tinubu Meets Osinbajo, Adesina (Photo)

Tinubu met with Osinbajo and Adesina during their encounter in Dar es Salaam in Tanzania.

 
Nigeria's President Bola Tinubu has met with the immediate Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and the President of African Development Bank, Akinwumi Adesina.
 
The meeting took place on Tuesday in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
 
Posting an image of the meeting, an X user, @Imran Muhdz wrote: “The former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo greeted President Tinubu during their encounter in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, on January 28, 2025.”
 
A few days ago, Tinubu had arrived Dar es Salaam ahead of the Mission 300 Africa Energy Summit, which started yesterday.
 
Tinubu had arrived at 10.20 p.m. (8.20 p.m. Nigerian time), and was received by Ali Ameir, Tanzania’s Minister of State, Office of the President.
 
The two-day summit is being hosted by the government of Tanzania, the African Union, the African Development Bank Group and the World Bank Group.
 
On the first day, at the ministerial level, participating countries, including Nigeria, will present their national energy strategies, termed compacts, detailing their approaches to achieving universal energy access within five years.
 
Welcoming Tinubu to Dar Es Salaam, Adesina had posted: “I was delighted to welcome H.E. President Tinubu ⁦@officialABAT⁩ to Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania for the Africa Energy Summit, organised by the ⁦@AfDB_Group⁩ and the ⁦@WorldBank,⁩ with the Government of Tanzania. Thank you very much Mr. President for honouring us.”
