The two kidnap suspects, who were arrested in connection with the abduction of Folasade Odumosu, the wife of retired AIG Hakeem Odumosu, have revealed that she was hidden behind her house for over one week.
According to them, Mrs Odumoso was held captive for nine days.

The suspects said they were given the job by an individual but both claimed they didn’t know his name.
On Friday, the police arrested two suspects, 27-year-old Agbojule Smart and 30-year-old Keleke Michael, in connection with the crime.
Two other gang members were reportedly neutralised during the rescue operation of the victim.
The retired AIG's wife was abducted at the entrance of her residence in Arepo, Owode Local Government Area, Ogun State. The abductors dragged her out of her Lexus SUV and took her through a swampy area to an unknown destination.
When paraded, one of the suspects said, “One man gave us the job, I don’t know his name. Four of us plus one other I don’t know were involved, so we are five. We went there with three guns but they were locally-made ones.
“We took her to the bush behind her house; there are many palm trees there. We kept her for like one week and two days. We demanded N40 million and they paid N20 million. We shared the money and I collected N4.25 million and my ‘brothers’ (gang members) also collected that amount. One of us knows the man who gave us the job.”
“We hid her at the back of her house. There are plenty palm trees there. If someone hides there, you cannot see the person,” the other suspect said.
On Thursday, SaharaReporters reported that Mrs Odumosu had been freed following her abduction.
