The accident happened at Osuntokun Junction, opposite a commercial bank in the New Bodija area of Ibadan.
In what will come across as a really heartbreaking development, a commercial motorcyclist whose identity has not been revealed has reportedly lost his life.
According to Daily Post, it was gathered that the motorcyclist died when an overspeeding black Mercedes saloon car rammed into a pharmacy in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
The incident occurred around 2 pm on Saturday.
The accident happened at Osuntokun Junction, opposite a commercial bank in the New Bodija area of Ibadan.
It was reported that the pharmacy into which the car crashed was heavily damaged.
It was also learned that two other vehicles belonging to customers parked in front of the pharmacy were damaged in the incident while the driver of the car sustained severe injuries and was rushed to the University College Hospital, UCH, Ibadan.
The body of the commercial motorcyclist was retrieved from inside the shop and has been deposited at the UCH morgue.
