Losing One’s Sibling Is Very Painful – Oyo Senator Mourns Makinde’s Brother

Alli who represents Oyo South Senatorial District at the National Assembly on the platform of All Progressives Congress APC, said this in reaction to the death of Sunday Makinde, who died in the early hours of Friday.

Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, the Chairman of Senate Committee on Electoral Matter, has mourned the death of the eldest brother of Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, saying it is always painful losing a relative, especially a sibling.

Alli who represents Oyo South Senatorial District at the National Assembly on the platform of All Progressives Congress APC, said this in reaction to the death of Sunday Makinde, who died in the early hours of Friday.

Alli in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Akeem Abas, described the deceased as a humble and accomplished man, who contributed significantly to his family and society.

The lawmaker added that the deceased legacy of hard work and commitment to humanity will forever be remembered.

“I extend my deepest condolences to Governor Seyi Makinde, his family, and everyone mourning Engr. Sunday Makinde.

“May the Almighty grant the family the strength to bear this irreparable loss and grant the departed eternal rest”.
