He added that efforts are being made in order for the rapper to be released today, 16th of January.
Stan Alieke, the lawyer of the rapper, Speed Darlington has revealed that he will soon regain freedom.
According to him, his client was arraigned in court and granted bail yesterday, 15th January.
He added that the reason Speed Darington is still in custody and wasn’t released immediately was that the court didn’t complete the verification of the surety provided.
He further revealed that the rapper would be released today, 16th of January.
Sharing the update on IG, Stan Alieke wrote:
“Yes, Akpi was arraigned and granted bail today by the court & he was meant to be released today. The court just couldn’t meet up to verify the surety we provided that’s why he wasn’t released today. Hopefully, by tomorrow he’ll be out after the perfection of the bail conditions.”
