Ekiti Police Launch Investigation Into The Disappearance Of Two Teenagers

The spokesperson of the Command, SP Sunday Abutu, who disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, named the two missing persons as Miss Aderukuola Adedayo and Miss Omowumi Hassan.

The Ekiti State Police have launched an investigation to determine the whereabouts of two female teenagers who went missing last month.

The spokesperson of the Command, SP Sunday Abutu, who disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, named the two missing persons as Miss Aderukuola Adedayo and Miss Omowumi Hassan.

“One Aderukuola Nifemi Adedayo of Idifi Street, Aramoko Ekiti, left home on December 14, 2024, and has not returned since then,” the statement read.

"She is 16 years old, dark in complexion, has no tribal mark, speaks Yoruba and English languages fluently.

"Similarly, one Hassan Omowumi of No 16, Akinlabi Street, Adebayo, Ado Ekiti, left home on 26/12/2024 and has not returned since then.

“She is 17 years old, fair in complexion, has no tribal mark, is four feet tall, and speaks the Yoruba language fluently.

"The command has commenced an investigation to unravel their whereabouts. Anyone with useful information about them should kindly contact the nearest Police Station or call 09064050086."
