Tinubu Returns to Abuja After Ghana Trip

Recall that Tinubu departed Lagos for Ghana to attend the inauguration of Ghanaian President, John Dramani Mahama on Tuesday.

 
Nigeria's President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja after his trip to Accra, Ghana, for the inauguration of John Drahami Mahama.
 
Recall that Tinubu departed Lagos for Ghana to attend the inauguration of Ghanaian President, John Dramani Mahama on Tuesday.
 
The trip was at the invitation of the Mahama, who had visited the Nigerian leader earlier in December.
 
Bayo Onanuga, spokesperson for the Presidency, has earlier disclosed that Tinubu’s attendance at the event as a special guest of honour was based on a personal invitation from Mahama.
 
The President’s arrival in Abuja was disclosed via a video shared by his Special Assistant on Social Media, Dada Olusegun, on Wednesday, January 8.

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu returns to Abuja from Accra to Abuja after President Mahama’s swearing-in and inauguration ceremony,” the post read.
