Those who reportedly lost their lives as a result of the accident included two female passengers and the tricycle rider.
Three victims have been reported dead in a tragic road accident that occurred in Ogbomoso, Oyo State on Tuesday.
It was learnt that the accident happened when a container-laden truck lost control and fell on a commercial tricycle.
The accident occurred at Takie Junction around 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, leaving three people dead on the spot.
Those who reportedly lost their lives as a result of the accident included two female passengers and the tricycle rider.
They were trapped under the container.
Sources said the articulated vehicle lost control while navigating a bend, causing the container to topple and crush the tricycle.
It was gathered that rescue efforts later confirmed all three victims had died.
