The suspected ritualist, aged 45, who was arrested at about 1:40 am on Sunday, had lured Darasimi to his residence in the Lafenwa area of Abeokuta.
Officers of the Ogun State Police Command have arrested Taiwo Yemitan for the unlawful possession of a human head and dismembered body parts belonging to a female victim identified as Darasimi.
The suspected ritualist, aged 45, who was arrested at about 1:40 am on Sunday, had lured Darasimi to his residence in the Lafenwa area of Abeokuta.
The police spokesperson, Omolola Odutola, confirming the incident to DAILY POST on Sunday said, the arrest followed a tip-off from local security outfits, the Agbekoya and the Vigilante operatives in the area.
Odutola noted that Yemitan, on interrogation, confessed to killing the victim and naming two other individuals, Kehinde Yemitan and one Kazeem, who are at large as his accomplices.
