Lawyer Warns Nigerians Against Getting Arrested This Period, Gives Reasons

He mentioned that anything that would make a person get arrested and detained now means they would most likely spend the Christmas and New Year holidays in police custody pending the time the courts resume.

A Nigerian lawyer, Stan Alieke, has warned Nigerians to try as much as possible to avoid getting arrested during the festive period.

According to the legal representative of singer, Speed Darlington, the courts will close for the Christmas and New Year holidays from next week, likewise most law firms.

He mentioned that anything that would make a person get arrested and detained now means they would most likely spend the Christmas and New Year holidays in police custody pending the time the courts resume.
