The husband had been ordered to remove the hair or they won't be married.

A Nigerian lady has taken to her social media page to narrate how pastors refused to officiate her wedding due to her husband's hairstyle.

The husband had cornrows for the wedding.

The lady known as @missteecal took to social media to recount the incident that transpired.

The lady narrated that during their marriage counselling, her husband had been told he can’t carry the hair (a mini braid) he had on for the marriage ceremony.

They had sought to make another decent hairstyle, Jericho, but found out that that wouldn’t be feasible since his hair was too long.

They finally settled for cornrows.

However, that was also rejected.

Mixed reactions have trailed this:

thrillnonstop remarked: “It SHOULDN’T be an issue, YES!!. You don’t see anything wrong with it, that’s Okay.

But it’s a BIG ISSUE for them and you were told before the wedding and AGREED. He could have cut it down, twisted it into a dread or something, it would have regrown eventually and he’d do whatever he wanted, COS YALL AGREED. TF is this rant???”
