Mixed Reactions As LP Lawmaker, Attah Is Spotted Wearing Cap With Tinubu’s Insignia

The photo of Thaddeus Attah, a House of Representatives member under the Labour Party, LP, rocking a cap embroidered with a symbol made popular by President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has sparked a flurry of reactions on social media. 

Thaddeus who represents the Eti Osa federal constituency of Lagos, posted the pictures on his X page.  

The photo generated series of reactions from Nigerians on X who asked if he is now a ‘’disciple'' of President Tinubu.

Some accused him of using the Labour Party to win the elections, while others said that politicians can't be trusted.

In February 2023, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Attah winner of the Eti-Osa federal constituency seat. Attah won the election with 24,075 votes to defeat singer Bankole Wellington aka BankyW of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who scored 18,666 votes. Babajide Obanikoro of the All Progressives Congress (APC) secured the third spot with 16,901 votes.
