A Nigerian Senior lawyer has reportedly shut down his chamber in Akure and relocated to the United Kingdom where he now works as a cleaner in a clothing store.
This was disclosed by an Ondo-based human right lawyer, Bolanle Cole, who on Sunday, November 24.
He stated that it was worrisome that senior lawyers were relocating to the UK only to end up working as security guards and salesboys.
“Senior lawyers leaving Nigeria to become a sales boy or security guard in the UK is worrisome,” he wrote.
“A very senior lawyer closed down his chamber here in Akure and relocated to the UK through the influence of his wife. He got to UK through study route and he is currently working with Primark as a cleaner."
