Libya Deports Seven Nigerians, Others For Law Violations (Photos)

The deportees, who had been held in detention, were returned to their respective countries following their illegal entry into Libya.

The Department for Combating Illegal Migration in Libya has deported no fewer than seven Nigerians, three Bangladeshis, and three Ghanaians following their detention at the Qanfoudah Immigration Detention Center.

Meanwhile, the deportees were flown out of Libya through Benina International Airport in Benghazi.

The deportees, who had been held in detention, were returned to their respective countries following their illegal entry into Libya.

In a statement released on their X handle on Tuesday, Migrant Rescue Watch disclosed that all individuals were deported for violating laws in force in Libya.

The statement read, "DCIM deported from Qanfoudah Immigration Detention Center 13 #migrants (Bangladesh 3 , Ghana 3 and Nigeria 7) via Benina International Airport in Benghazi.

"All individuals were deported for violating laws in force in the Libyan state."
