The woman explained that if he decided to sue the government, he would definitely win the case in court.

Sonia Ighalo, the wife of Nigerian footballer Odion Ighalo, has offered her own unique perspective on the unfolding scandal involving Baltasar Ebang Engonga, the Director of the National Intelligence and Security Service (ANIF) of Equatorial Guinea.

In the midst of the chaos, Sonia expressed that despite the messiness of the controversy, the individual at the center of the scandal could very well win a lawsuit against the government.

She pointed out that the officers responsible for leaking private videos to the global were in the wrong.

According to Sonia, it is not the responsibility of the public to view such private matters, and it should be the spouse of those involved who addresses the issue legally.

The violation of privacy through such humiliating leaks, she said, is especially problematic given that a life had been lost in the process.

In her reflection, Sonia also highlighted the lack of proper training, comparing it to that of Nigerian officers.

She said: “As messy as everything is in Equatorial Guinea, if this guy sue the govt he will surely WIN.

“The officers had no right to release the videos to the World (Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, and so on…) the spouse of those involved should be the one dealing with him in court, humiliating adults for something consensual and someone had lost her life in the process.

*no proper training same thing Nig officers can do.”
