Face Of Man Who Killed His Ex-Wife In Ogun Over Domestic Dispute

The 37-year-old suspect was believed to have had a misunderstanding with the woman, which resulted in a scuffle.

 

Muftau Adefalu, a Nigerian man, has allegedly killed his ex-wife, a woman called Yetunde Olayiwole, in the Sango-Ota area of Ogun State.

The Ogun State Police informed The PUNCH that the suspect had since been arrested and detained following the death of Olayiwole.

The spokesperson for the command, Omolola Odutola, told PUNCH Online on Saturday evening that the incident occurred at about 8:00 pm on Friday, November 1, 2024.

The 37-year-old suspect was believed to have had a misunderstanding with the woman, which resulted in a scuffle.

During the scuffle, PUNCH Online reports, the victim immediately slumped and was later confirmed dead at the hospital she was taken to.

Odutola said, ”The man had a misunderstanding with his ex-wife, which resulted in a fight. She slumped during the scuffle and was immediately taken to a hospital for medical attention.

“She was later confirmed dead by a doctor on duty. The corpse has been deposited at the Ifo General Hospital morgue for autopsy. The suspect has been arrested and detained.”

This incident comes days after a 39-year-old man, Olusegun Tinubu, was allegedly stabbed to death by his wife, Comfort Tinubu, in Ibadan, Oyo State.

The suspect has since been detained, with the state police command confirming that it had begun an investigation into the incident.
