In a statement issued on Friday, Lado lauded Tinubu’s commitment to selecting a capable and diverse team to drive the administration’s objectives.

Basheer Lado, the Special Adviser to the President on Senate Matters, has highlighted President Bola Tinubu’s recent reshuffling of his cabinet as a signal of his dedication to addressing Nigeria’s critical needs and propelling economic growth.

In a statement issued on Friday, Lado lauded Tinubu’s commitment to selecting a capable and diverse team to drive the administration’s objectives.

He praised the swift and professional handling of the confirmation process by the Senate under the leadership of Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

“The President’s selection of top-quality ministers reflects his resolve to tackle Nigeria’s challenges head-on,” Lado stated, commending Akpabio for his “uncommon professionalism” during the screening of the seven newly appointed nominees.

The Senate’s prompt confirmation, he added, aligns with Tinubu’s vision to accelerate national development.

The newly confirmed ministers are expected to soon assume their roles to fill the cabinet’s vacant positions following their confirmation by the Senate.

According to Lado, “The ministers were carefully chosen based on expertise, the wealth of knowledge, and extensive experience, equipping them to make impactful changes across key sectors.”

He noted that the appointment of the ministers demonstrates Tinubu’s responsiveness to Nigerians and his commitment to delivering the dividends of democracy to the citizenry.

“This selection also reflects President Tinubu’s dedication to fostering national unity, peaceful co-existence, and social harmony, building a foundation for a more vibrant and inclusive Nigeria,” Lado said.
