Actress Ekene Umenwa has courted controversy after sharing a video dedicating her daughter to Mother Mary.
Nigerians took to social media to accuse her of engaging in idol worship.
Recall that in September, Ekene announced the arrival of her first child in the US, stating that only Jesus and Mother Mary could understand what she went through.
Sharing the dedication video, she wrote:
“The flight shifting could not stop me from taking my baby to mama before she entered her father’s house this is what I told mummy before I left and I want to say a big thank you to all my REV FATHERS INCLUDING MY FATHER @stevemarioisioma for his constant support
Mother Mary My power woman.
My Mirror of JUSTICE”.
