Nigerian actor, Chidi Mokeme has reacted to President Bola Tinubu directing the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, to work with the Army and Air Force to deploy adequate security personnel, including aerial cover, to protect the engineers who are fixing the damaged transmission line in the Northern region of the nation.
The actor took to the X platform to refer to the directive as a shameful act.
States in Northern Nigeria have been thrown into darkness for over a week now following the vandalization of two towers along the 330kV Shiroro–Kaduna transmission lines 1 and 2.
On Monday, October 28, President Tinubu ordered the NSA to ordered the National Security Adviser (NSA) Nuhu Ribadu “to work with the Army and Air Force to deploy adequate security personnel, including aerial cover, to protect the engineers who are fixing the damaged transmission line”.
