He said they have been married for over 13 years but have no biological children together.

Kayode Salako has finally addressed reports that he fathered a child with another woman.

Salako is the husband of Foluke Daramola, a popular Nigerian.

It was gathered that Kayode fathers a child named Murewa with Oluwafunke Oyegoke-Salako.

In a recent Facebook post, Salako clarified that Foluke was fully aware and supportive of his decision to have a child with Oluwafunke.

He said they have been married for over 13 years but have no biological children together. He also said his other children, now grown, live with their mother abroad.

“It took me 3 years of begging Foluke Daramola-Salako, my wife, to allow me have at least one, or two children here in Nigeria, for the security of my old age, since I am not impotent,” the post reads in part.

“I am already above 50, and I don’t want to be 70 years, and still continue to live alone, without children around me.

“I have been married and living with her for over 13 years now, but God has not given us our own love child yet. She saw reason with me after a while, and said you can go ahead.”

Salako also disclosed that the actress treats Murewa like her own son and maintains a cordial relationship with the boy’s mother while referring to them as “bosom sisters”.

“Murewa Omowonuola (Ayinde) Salako is the product of that understanding,” he added.

“Oluwafunke Oyegoke-Salako from Ogbomosho, is that woman Nigerian bloggers have been talking about since last year on social media, and Oluwamurewa is the boy she has had for us.

“Foluke treats him like her son. Foluke and Funke are doing well together as buxom sisters.”

Foluke and Salako have been married since 2010.

In 2021, rumours surfaced on social media suggesting their marriage had fallen apart.

However, the actress refuted the claims, adding that they still shared the same bed.
