NSCDC Arrests Fleeing Bandit In Kano

NSCDC Public Relations Officer, Ibrahim Abdullahi, who confirmed the arrest in a statement at the weekend said the suspect is linked to a notorious bandit leader involved in kidnapping and banditry in Funtua.

A suspected bandit, Umar Ibrahim, also known as Danlami Tela, has been apprehended by the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Kano State Command.

The 45-year-old suspect from Dikke, Funtua Local Government Area of Katsina State, was nabbed at Hotoro Yandodo in Nassarawa LG of Kano State.

NSCDC Public Relations Officer, Ibrahim Abdullahi, who confirmed the arrest in a statement at the weekend said the suspect is linked to a notorious bandit leader involved in kidnapping and banditry in Funtua.

Ibrahim, who was found with an Android phone, three SIM cards, and an ATM card, has been transferred to the Nigerian Air Force Forward Operating Base 215 in Funtua for further action.
