The victim was rushed to a private hospital at Sabo-Oke, an area of the Ilorin metropolis, where she was confirmed dead on arrival by the doctor on duty.
Efforts to reach both the spokespersons of the police and Federal Road Safety Corps in Ilorin on Saturday for their reactions to the tragic incident proved abortive.
It could not be confirmed if relations of the victim had been notified about the incident.
