Aiyedatiwa asserted that PDP’s umbrella has been torn into shreds, hence people of the state should chase away the party with their votes.
Ondo State, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has boasted that chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, are now with the All Progressives Congress, APC.
He stated this ahead of the November 16 governorship election in the state.
Aiyedatiwa asserted that PDP’s umbrella has been torn into shreds, hence people of the state should chase away the party with their votes.
The governor, who is the candidate of the ruling APC in the election, spoke during his campaign tour to Ese Odo LGA on Wednesday.
“I want you to use our vote to chase away other political parties. As you know, all the gladiators in the PDP are now with us.
“We have torn the umbrella of the main opposition party into shreds. In this coming election, your vote must be for the APC,” he said.
Earlier at Igbobini, Aiyedatiwa, who met a mammoth crowd of supporters, had appreciated them for their support and steadfastness.
He stated that their loyalty has made the ruling party wax stronger in the state.
