Three Arrested In Lagos For Allegedly Def!ling 15-year-old Girl And Threatening To Post Her N*de Pictures On The Internet

The PPRO said the suspects were arrested following a complainant reported the case at Area ‘E’ Festac Command on September 26, on behalf of the teenager.

Three suspects have been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command over the alleged def!lement of a 15-year-old girl in the Festac area of the state.
 
The spokesperson of the command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, who confirmed the arrest of the suspects to journalists on Wednesday, October 9, identified the suspects as Vincent Omar, 22; Leonard Nwodo, 30; and Henry Chiokwe, 17.
 
The PPRO said the suspects were arrested following a complainant reported the case at Area ‘E’ Festac Command on September 26, on behalf of the teenager.
 
“The survivor alleged that she met Omar sometime in 2022 when she was 13 years old and they exchanged phone numbers and ever since then he called her on the phone to come to his house and he asked her to give him a bl*w job,
” he said.
     
“She stated further that sometime in May 2024, she met Omar’s friend, Nwodo at her mother’s shop and they also exchanged phone numbers Nwodo invited her to Omar’s house where he had carnal knowledge of her.

“She said that Chiokwe also had carnal knowledge of her."

According to him, Omar and Chiokwe threatened to post the girl’s n*de pictures on the internet, hence the report at the police station.
 
Hundeyin added that the suspects have been arraigned.
