Popular Nigerian activist and lawyer, Deji Adeyanju has confirmed the arrest of controversial singer, Speed Darlington.

In a post shared on his X handle, Deji mentioned that efforts are being made to secure the singer’s release.

He stressed that no one should be arrested by the police for expressing their views.

As of now, no one knows who certainly facilitated Darlington's arrest.

However, in his post, Deji wrote;

’You can’t be singing against oppressors and still be an oppressor'

This is coming after Nigerians accused singer, Burna Boy of being behind Speed Darlington's arrest.

Speed Darlington alleged that Burna Boy was involved with Hiphop mogul, Diddy who was arrested for s3xual assualt, racketeering among others.

Speedy mentioned that Burna Boy broke into the American music scene and got nominated for the Grammys after meeting with Diddy. He then asked Burna how many of the baby oils found in Diddy's house were used on him.
