Nigerian military troops have once again expressed their frustration over the delayed processing of their operational allowances for July, August, and September 2024.

The personnel were members of joint task force, Operation Hadarin Daji in Zamfara State, which compromised of the Army, Navy, Airforce and Civil Defence

One of the officers who spoke with SaharaReporters on Thursday lamented that they had not been paid for three months.

The soldier explained that they were facing hunger which is affecting their morale in the fight against the bandits in the region.

"Soldiers, Navy Airforce and Civil Defence at Operation Hadarin Daji in Zamfara have not been paid July, August, and September operation allowance.

"If operational allowance is not paid in time, how will you get morale to perform well on duty? Morale will not be there at all,"
the source added.

The military authorities have yet to react officially to the complaints of the soldiers.
