Oyinkansola Alabi, the US Army Behavioral Health Specialist, who is popularly known as The Emotion Doctor, has spoken to men who abandon their children.
She said that the era of expecting a child one rejected in childhood to seek them in adulthood is over.
"We are no longer in that generation where you expect a child you rejected and abandoned in childhood to look for you in adulthood.
"If you chose to abandon them in childhood for whatever "juicy" reason, they can choose to erase you from their mental health too," she wrote in a Facebook post on Thursday.
