The Kano State Hisbah Board has launched a new campaign to tackle immorality in the state
As part of this effort, the board has announced several new regulations.
A complete ban on sports betting has been put in place. Additionally, landlords will no longer be allowed to rent apartments to unknown individuals.
According to Daily Trust, couples will not be allowed to sit together in tinted vehicles at night, and street begging, particularly by women at night, will be prohibited. Women will also not be allowed to ride in tricycles after 10 pm.
