He warned Nigerians never to say there’s no power in the name, emphasising that doing so marks the beginning of downfall.

Yul Edochie, the popular Nigerian actor, has shared a spiritual message on his Instagram page, stating the significance of the name of Jesus.

He warned Nigerians never to say there’s no power in the name, emphasising that doing so marks the beginning of downfall.

Edochie acknowledged potential flaws in Christianity, noting that some parts of the religion have been altered to suit men, not God.

However, he stressed the importance of recognising the power in Jesus’ name, citing historical precedent that those who have denied it have not fared well.

“There is power in the name of Jesus.

Never you say there’s no power in the name.

“You can fault the white man’s religion.

Yes, some parts of it have been altered to suit men and not God. But never you say there’s no power in the name JESUS.

“It always marks the beginning of downfall. Read history, people who have said such in the past never ended well”,
he wrote.
