Two Arrested For Murder Of 18-year-old Boy In Bauchi

The spokesperson of the command, SP Ahmed Muhammad Wakil, who confirmed the incident in a statement on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, said Adamu, of Kofar Dumi was killed in the Bayan Gari area of the state.

Two suspects have been arrested by the Bauchi State Police Command in connection with the heinous killing of an 18-year-old boy, Adamu Alkasim.
 
The spokesperson of the command, SP Ahmed Muhammad Wakil, who confirmed the incident in a statement on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, said Adamu, of Kofar Dumi was killed in the Bayan Gari area of the state.
 
According to the PPRO, the suspects, Usman Shehu (alias Babayaro) 20 and Abdullahi Abubakar (alias Ababa) 19, were arrested for criminal conspiracy and culpable homicide.
 
“Usman Shehu conspired with four others to attack one Adamu, resulting in his death. Upon receiving the report, Commissioner of Police CP Auwal Musa Muhammad ordered a discreet investigation, leading to the arrest of Usman Shehu and Abdullahi Abubakar,” the statement read.
 
"The case is still under investigation. Upon completion, the suspects will be profiled and charged to court.
 
"The command is working to apprehend the remaining suspects. Members of the public with information on their whereabouts are urged to contact the Police.
 
“The Bauchi State Police Command warns that violence and crime will not be tolerated in the state. We will continue to work diligently to ensure justice and safety for all citizens.”
