Reps Suspend Plenary to Mourn Late Ifeanyi Uba

Uba passed away in London on the 27th of July during the National Assembly’s annual long recess.

 
The House of Representatives on Tuesday has said it is suspending plenary session to mourn the passing of late Senator Ifeanyi Uba.
 
Recall that Uba passed away in London on the 27th of July during the National Assembly’s annual long recess.
 
As is customary for the House to adjourn plenary in the event of the death of a serving member, the House suspended its first legislative session since the death of Mr Uba.
 
The legislative session will resume on Wednesday.
